The Black Theatre Ensemble has enjoyed reenacting some of the most favorable, staggering, and remarkable productions drawn from an extensive list of phenomenal playwrights. We’ve holistically relished the opportunity to bring inspiring words and powerful stories to life, which significantly illustrate and reflect our dedication to the “Black experience”. BTE shows are the focal point of our community. They speak volumes about the experience in the black community and commemorate the theatrical works of black artists. We welcome people from all backgrounds to act and perform in our shows, and we typically carry out a fall and spring production every school year.
